i cut my stock civic shifter but that throw was long as s*** anyway

Picture of how this ziptie works with the sagging boot? Or is it zipties at the position needed to hold the boot on the shifter and then the boot over it? Id think they'd slide down if so but perhaps not much since it widens.

measure where you want your boot to sit. take off the console and put a zip tie very tight on the shifter. Like you said, because it widens the zip tie won't go anywhere and it puts just enough pressure on the boot to hold it up.

^ I used that rubbery kind of stuff that you put in between surfaces to keep them from sliding. I cut a thin piece, wrapped it around the shifter then ziptied it really tightly so it doesn't slip
