I think the OP was trying to prove he wasn’t a noob at high HP cars. I get that. But a big block Chevy with a carb is night and day different from a PGM-FI, high compression, high revving, high head flow 4 cylinder.
The basic formula is the same for all high HP Hondas. You need a built bottom end - sleeved block, forged pistons and rods. Compression ratio is debatable and is limited by the octane of fuel. Then add a large turbo capable of flowing at least 65lbs/min. That much air needs a lot of fuel so large injectors and a lot of fuel pump. Lastly the stock ignition in Hondas is inconsistent. Some can make it work at high cylinder pressures, some cant. I suggest you upgrade the coil or add 3 more.
