So I have decided to start my 600 hp build... I'm going to be building a gsr engine with a b16a head now my only question is... How difficult is it to swap from my original b18a1 to a b18c1

not hard. just have to wire your vtec which is two wires, may have to do a knock if you choose to.

But seriously, most people dont go from a bolt-on NA motor to 600hp beast in 1 step.

For what its worth, theres no reason why you cant make big power without a vtec head.
Your tuning options for OBD0 suck, you will want to convert to OBD1.

I'm basing my build off of the 1300hp civic build golden eagle did in the newest edition of HONDA TUNING magazine

So you have Golden Eagle type budget and knowledge? Just because car A makes such and such power with such and such parts, does not mean that car B will do the exact same.

BTW if you don't know how to swap your LS out with a GSR, I highly doubt you will be able to make 600hp, no matter who's recipe you use.

Nope just the truth that needs to be told... Considering we get soon many people that come to this site and say they want 500hp on hopes and dreams while all the answers be handed to them and then there are those few that say f*** it and do it like daddybuiltracing does.

Well thanks for the pissed on Cheerios mates!! I have been saying I want the 600 hp build for about a year and a half. It is a dream yes. I have researched for that time and found the shop I want to use talked to tons of people right about now at this stage all it takes is money.... I said I'm BASING it off speed factory's build I'm not doing the exact same things... The money is sent to get the ball rolling the block is being sleeved right now
