I'm not very knowledgeable in transmissions but for some reason I want to say either the clutch or throwout bearing is going bad. Or it could be a synchro.

I'm getting it looked at tonight. Fingers crossed that it isn't very expensive to fix

Also my cold air intake is coming in tomorrow! Is it a fairly easy install? Or does it require some work?

Ha-ha. My brother has one coming in tomorrow too for his S-10, lol. I've never installed one (yet!), but from what I hear, it takes an hour or less with basic handtools.

That's not bad at all! But now I have to wait for my car to get out of the shop

lol, pobably more like 20 minutes. the hardest part is probably getting the old one off and all the separate pieces to it

Intake is easy to install. Probably the only thing to worry about is the tight fit of the coolant lines. Everything else is straightforward.

Update on my car. The problem was the transmission. 2000$ fix

Holy shit that's a lot. What's the transmission issue?

I'm not 100% sure yet but I think it's the first bearing in the transmission.

If it's a bearing, I seriously doubt it'd be $2k to fix.
