There should be a coupler of sorts to put the two pipes together.

The two that came with it. It came with one with the fitting holes and there is another in the original picture.

I don't know for sure if they will or not. That's something to check. Right now you have an SRI which doesn't do much for power. If you can figure out how to use the other piping (it came with it; it should be useable), it'll put the filter further into the engine bay for cooler air temperatures, hince the CAI. It'll be more beneficial.

Did the kit not come with a coupler? And have you played around with any test-fitting other than the short pipe?

Hmm.. There are three things I can think of then:
1. They forgot to ship a coupler.
2. You can go buy a coupler; any local auto parts store should have what you need.
3. You can buy a breather filter and put that in the vacuum line that connects to the short ram pipe and use the longer tube.

I think I figured it out. I needed to take out the full air box and the filter basically fits down where it was.
