Who would handle better?

okay. So it got to the point where my cousin said that why do you waste money on your car. He said you can have a car like mine with "track" tuned suspension that will out handle your car....I dont think it would.

He has a 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe R Spec 3.8 V6 Bone Stock, (except Short ram air intake) - I have a 1997 Acura Integra RS

Suspension mod wise I have...

  • Skunk2 pro series plus front camber kit.
  • SPC Rear camber kit.
  • Buddy Club N+ Coilovers.
  • Suspension techniques front sway bar.
  • Eibach 25mm rear sway bar.
  • ASR Subframe Brace.
  • Eibach spherical endlinks.
  • Energy suspension polyurethane trailing arm bushings.
  • Skunk2 lower control arms
Wheels and Tires
*Enkei.rpf1.15x7. +35. Yokohama S.drive(Ultra High Performance Summer). 195/55 R15 85V.

I know this question would be kinda bland because it would depend on what adjustments are done to the suspension and how its tuned.

But , who do you think would out handle who. Under same driver and same weather circumstances. Just different car?:p

Go.

Your car would handle better. However it's a pointless battle as your cars time would get RAPED in straights and acceleration from turns

I've never driven in a Genesis, I prefer pussy, but I would assume it would still trump the Teg because I believe those have a decent amount of power and more driving assists to make up the difference because people would rather cheat their way through a track than learn how to drive properly

yep. His car would blow your doors out in any race, but I would still rate your car as having better handling. I dont want to sound provocative, because I feel like Patrick will pop outta nowhere... But the Genesis has a loose rear end and was reviewed as such in motor trend

I am just purely talking "Handling".... Power wise id get butt f***ed. 3.8 liter v6 and a light chassis.
I would have to be like...lets see who can take this corner faster type of test haha...

I guess if we to re-word it id say. Who would win a race on a road race course. both cars have equivalent amount of horsepower. Everything else was different. His is stock. He has brembos though. I just have all the suspension mods on him. Plus better tires.

Well that's easy. Both of you take turns bombing an empty off ramp and on ramp. When it comes to just 'handling', a lot come into play like entry speed, breaking threshold, how the car needs to be driven in the corner, how it reacts to the acceleration and horsepower changes, how it reacts to an elevation change. benchmark racing is tough with those factors

lol you`d see my ass on channel 7 news with my integra flip up in a tree. Im dying to hit the tracks with my car. I just wish i didn't do all the suspension mods before i went. So i can tell what they do when i add them on.

Come to Buttonwillow with us. It's the same distance for you as it is for me and my girl!! There is a thread on here for it. The Club Integra Challenge. You have a much better suspension package than I do
