Pros and Cons of Sunroofs

Unless you are building a race car I don't see the point in losing the weight. Yes the whole system is heavy and top heavy, but it doesn't hurt performance that much.

I'll keep the sunroof and add MORE POWER!!
Dropping weight is akin to adding power, you go faster, AND get better handling, AND get shorter stopping distances. You're right, the difference is hardly noticeable to the average normal regular driver, but that's not most people on these forums, we want that edge. If not putting sunroof's in ITR's for the performance gain was a good enough reason for Honda not to do it, it's good enough for me.

Love it in my Legend, but that's much more of a cruiser.

Glad my Integra is an RS without one. I'm building it to be more of a track car so I'd rather have the solid roof.

That is splitting hairs. The time difference is almost non existent, not having it does reduce body roll. Yea if you buy it without then yea, but for the time, effort and money to get rid of it doesn't really make it worth it...performance wise.

Some people like them others don't , but to not get it just from a performance aspect is kinda pointless, unless you are building a weekend track car

I'm not saying it's monetarily practical to remove the sunroof, just saying that it's better performance wise to not have one.
