Dude its a sunroof. Some like it, some dont.. some like and dont like it. I hardly use mine but its one of those things i rather have for when i want to use it. Would never prefer not to have one.

Yeah, its personal preference, it really shouldn't matter to anyone but yourself.

No fucks given.
I like them but honestly even being in florida I don't use it as much as you would think lol.
See, I'm completely opposite. Literally every time I would drive my car, I open it. So I'm with everyone else about loving it.

Since I have an RS with a sunroof, the only con I have about my sunroof is the fact that the people who installed the thing back in '93 didn't put any drain rails in, so water pools in the sunroof area if it's open and then leaks into the interior through the headliner. Happened once, caught it after about 30 seconds of very light rain. (I was in the house, car was open)

mine just frustrates me more often than not. the time you can use it in texas and enjoy it is pretty rare without burning to a crisp (not to mention i'm a gingerfag) plus the one on the third gens opens up like 6 inches at best. it's kinda lamesauce, that being said, it makes for a good vent at times when you just crack it

Pro's:
-Opening it creates less wind noise than opening a window.
-Looks cool on the outside when it's open.
-It's a more secure way to vent your car on a hot day when it's parked than opening a window.

Con's:
-Adds weight to the car vs. not having one (reason #1 ITR's don't have one)
-Reduces structural integrity of the body. (reason #2 ITR's don't have one)
-Sun gets in your eyes.

I have one, but I only ever open it at dusk/night, and even that's a rarity. I typically just have it closed and forget about it.
I'd rather it be gone and have a lighter car with a more structurally rigid body.

I hated them back when I had my GP without one, but now that I have one I don't think I could ever do without. Mine's almost always open.

Unless you are building a race car I don't see the point in losing the weight. Yes the whole system is heavy and top heavy, but it doesn't hurt performance that much.

I'll keep the sunroof and add MORE POWER!! ( said in Jeremy Clarkson voice)
