I think it's amazing how many people jumped on the anti-S2 bandwagon based solely on one comment they read on the internet. Very few people read the story behind the issues at hand and simply jumped at the chance to bash a company who, a week before, they were swinging from the proverbial nut sack of. This included more than just this forum particularly.
I'm not defending the actions of Skunk 2 at all. I feel that they could have dealt with this in a much more professional manner.
It just baffles me at how fast allegiances can flip based on hearsay. Most people are making comments based on the complaints of others, who are basing their complaints on the complaints of others. I do acknowledge that some are speaking from actual first hand experience, but that is a small minority.
If you don't like them now, don't buy from them. If you still like them, buy from them. That is how it works. Support them or don't, but do it based on your own thought process, not that of a misguided, misinformed asshole typing on a computer.

x2 I have first hand seen their crappy quality and seen interactions with customers when confronted about it... I myself haven't bought anything from them, but the shops I used to take my car to get tuned have had plenty of bad experience with them. And that's just their parts problems, not to mention anything about their poor business ethics, etc.

That's all good and well. I'm totally ok with that. It's nice to see that you guys are making your mind up on your own through research and experience, not just jumping on the bandwagon.
Though I hear the bandwagon throws in a free roof rack and purple lcas. lol

No, only roof racks can do that. Roof racks covered in many, many fatlace stickers... though I have noticed that the 'hellaflush krew' (Spelled with a 'k' because grammar has no business on the street.) that runs around in the Portland suburbs all have the same huge rear tow hook covered in what appears to be a mohawk made of multicolored zipties... with CI as my witness, I vow to track one of them down and get a picture! I think I may know where one of them works...
