Just ate dinner. I'm still having problems eating 5-6 small meals a day. I only ate about 1800 calories today. And I'm FULL! I can't eat anything else lol didn't even finish my whole dinner.

Should I add one or 2 days of cardio into my plan? And for how long? I already do between 30-40 mins of cardio each day with my current plan (10 min warm up, 20-30 mins after lifting) but I think I might need more to drop the fat I want.

I'm thinking something like

Day 1: Shoulder, Bicep, Tricep
Day 2: Cardio
Day 3: Chest and Back
Day 4: Cardio
Day 5: Legs & Abs
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: Repeat Cycle

When I was doing p90x I really liked the Kempo X DVD and the Plyometrics DVD. Does anyone know some Plyometrics routines I can do in the gym? I think I'm lifting enough to maintain and increase my muscle mass. But I don't think I'm doing enough cardio to drop the fat I want to drop.

I'll join, just to reminisce...

I'm 5'3 at 140lbs
A month after I stopped working out in June 2011. I didn't want to waste my summer being at the gym, so I stopped. Then, work, school, gf, and family took over my schedule. Haven't been back : (

My routine was:

Mon: Chest (a little cardio)
Tues: Back
Weds: shoulder
Thurs: bicep, tricep, abs
Fri: legs

and there were other regimes too that I switched to when I started to plateau

i never do any cardio and it's a shame. the only time i'm running is when i play basketball. other than that, i keep my running to a minimum. hahahahaha.

i know i should more often, but it's just not something i favor when i work out hahaha.

When it comes to cardio i think of the 5mile saturdays, the mile warm ups everyday. Shit sucked if ur lik me and running makes u dizzy. I took punches to the head better than i responded to running lol

Lol I'm good once I get into that zone. "Runner's high" I guess you can call it. When I was a lifeguard at the beach we had to run 9 miles and swim 6 miles once a week. They called it "Around the World" Shit sucked. But once I zoned out I could get it done. I love when that happens. Seems like in the movies or the TV shows when everything slows down and all the background noise fades out and all you hear is your breathing and heartbeat lol

I was wondering when I would come across a thread like this. Its good to know Im not the only gym guy here. I have been out for a little while, not long though, and am getting back into it. Plan on doing a show or two this summer.

I eat all day every day lol, but I don't gain ridiculous amounts of fat from it..
I was taking in about 3500-4000 calories a day when I was into it hard. No junk food. A lot of beef, chicken, occasionaly some pork, a lot of grains, fruits, and vegetables. You wouldn't believe how much money I spent on food. LOL

lol I just saw this thread. you guys put in so much work. I just have a set or weights and do curls, hang cleans, stuff like that between matches of COD. I do planks and russian sit ups and crunches every other match to mix things up. I was 185 6'4" in high school and pretty well cut. and im up to 215 and definitely not cut. college life +beer + 40s + cheese burger place a matter of steps from me = out of shape lol
