Haven't posted here in forever so I figured is give some updates.... Lost 8 pounds in the past week. I cut out soda and SOME junk food. Been drinking a lot more water than normal. 8-10 16oz bottles of water a day. I work on the river and have to wear a PFD and hard hat all day so It gets a little hot at times. Haven't really hit the gym but I have been doing some basic stuff in the basement and at work when not busy. I've been doing 100 push ups & crunches (2 sets-50 in the morn, 50 in the eve) and 50 (5 sets of 10 throughout the day) pullups a day for the past week. I feel a difference already. I guess its just self-esteem but its noticeable. I weigh 180 now compared to the 200+ I weighed 2-3 years ago when I was insanely huge. Just going to stay fit now. Not too worried about getting huge anymore.

Here's a pic

Lazy bums. Whats up? Well I haven't been in the gym. Got too busy with school but I've been swimming and I just ordered this tonight :D it gives you resistance while you swim.

I went from 215lb to 208lb in 3 weeks of my diet and riding my bike. Goal is to get down to 160, riding to work and back 6.6mi. in 28min., with an average speed of 13mph, and a 34ft. elevation. I'm using Strava to log in all my data, awesome app, better than run keeper. Hope i can get down to 20min. @ averaging 20mph.

i followed this pretty much...except the nutrition... -___- i did have my calories cut to 1800-2000/day, but i still didnt cut weight/fat. i got swole and cut up considering the fat i have on me, but i really want to drop lbs.

before i start w/ the weight lifting i'm on the treadmill for about 20-30 minutes a day, i try to get at least 2 miles in...i'm good at running 2 sets of 1/4 mile stretches at 2.5% at 6.8-7mph then i'll slow down to 4.3 at 3.5% incline in between....

You should get at least 2500 calories, sounds like your body need more energy. When your body feels like its starving it will slow your metabolism down to compensate for the change. It sucks because I went from 215 to 208 in 3 weeks, then after a few month down to 198 but got in my bike accident and now its winter almost so I'm boned. Gotta get back on my grind.

yea i was thinking about that too...i got that 1800 caloric intake from myfitnesspal app i was using..i'm 260 and i wanted to get to 200...that's the number it calculated for me...at the end of my work day alot of days i feel exhausted...alot of days i have to push to get to the gym. when i'm done at the gym i'm so fukin amped...it's ridiculous..on top of that, alot of days after the gym i dont feel like eating. so i just do my protein shake and i'm done

Yeah try to get at 2400-2500 calories, not everyone is built the same. 1800-2000 is for someone that doesn't do any working out and just wants to loose weight on a diet. Your burning energy your body is starving itself with poor nutrition.

Going a 30 mile bike ride today lets see if I finish it. My goal is go from 214 to 170 this year coming up.

Increasing calorie intake and protein is always a plus. Getting proper vitamin intake is also a plus. I suggest a good multi-pack. I recently started taking the Marked daily vitamin pack. Its a little pricy but I feel it's one of the best I have taken. And also suggest a pre-workout. I'm experamenting with NO2 Red HEMO SURGE. So far so good. It's vital to have a small post workout meal and a pre workout meal 30min to 1 hr after workout. I suggest researching a little bit into it. All kinds of info on the web.
