Fog light wiring

Hey Keenan, i'm just having a problem with which wire going where under the dashboard. i posted a photo of how my set looks like on the first page.

yeah yeah, that little brown plug hiding in the damn corner up above. i'll try that also. which wires did you plug into where iDrive? like which brown plug into fuse #4 and the other into the corner.

Mine wasnt a brown plug it was just a spade connector

actually has an FB6 now.
still no luck. put the shorter yellow wired brown plug into the fuse box (tried all slots) and the longer red one into the brown plug in the corner just now.

didn't work.

i got tired of the wiring and just used a splicer and connected it with my headlight power output (not my HID wires) and it started working. so whenever i turn my low beams on, it'll turn on also. it's not as bright as i thought or wanted it to be, but then again, i didn't wire it correctly and it's not OEM. can't really complain much.



ignore that little dimple dent. a truck hit my shit and drove off like a cunt.

any 94-97 fogs ive seen arent really that bright. Ive heard of people putting HIDs in them, but it seems like a lot of work. mine have been sitting in the box for a while...

yeah, i saw a tutorial. it looks like too much work and since i just finished this, i'm not ready to back to pull off my bumper just to change the bulb.

maybe in the future, but not soon.

Really tho, I am quite kind.. anyways........

Since you got your own rig going right now..I'm gonna hold off on going out in the cold right now to take pictures haha. I'll take some tomorrow and upload them for you. The only problem with my wiring is that the tutorial I followed put my power to the switch on at all times.
So...basically I always have power going to that switch, not sure how that affects my battery but its not terrible so far. But that might throw you off if want to plug that intermediate brown plug into a different place from where I put mine (which you will see tomorrow)

i would actually like to have my fog lights turn off when i don't need it, but i haven't been driving so far since installing it. will await your photos. :thumbs up
