What? They raised the prices? Usually it's $1k, doesn't really go lower than that if you can't find anything in your area.

When mine was wrecked, I was gonna fix it but it got way too expensive very fast. Mine was quite a bit more serious but the damage looked fixable.
Airbags deployed, I purchased driver and passenger airbags and airbag control unit for $100 off of ebay.
Make sure you replace the control unit! This is VERY important. After deployment, the control unit can cause unpredictable and premature airbag deployment if it is re-used. Also make sure the battery is disconnected before doing any work on the airbags.
For the core support, don't do anything to it before taking it to a shop. A good collision shop will probably have to look at it and replace some of the sheet metal behind the core support. The damaged core support is used to help the shop align the new parts for correct instillation.

I finally got my w2s so once I file my taxes and get my money I'm ordering a jdm front end and hopefully try and find some fat fives or meshies. I'm setting $2000 limit but I wish I could spend more on my teg. I also won't get my license until July so when I do I'll hopefully have a clean teg.

UPDATE!!! finally bought a front end. picked up a front from a 94 gsr that was sitting in a junk yard for $400.i still need a radiator and replace head gasket. I'm planning on doing a wire tuck. only thing that was damaged besides radiator was the A/c cooler. since the A/C cooler was cracked so I decided to remove all the lines to clean up the bay. never used A/C anyway lol. im working on a budget so i cant do any serious upgrades. mainly just fixing what was damaged in the wreck.
here's a few pics of what the teg looks like right now.

unfortunately the frame was bent but the junkyard cut the radiator support at the frame rail 18inches from the support from the front end i bought.
