Windows Tinted? Post Pics

20% rear / 35% fronts for me. the color of your interior makes a huge difference. i have taken all my cars to the same tint shop. i got my moms car done in 20% rear and looking into her car (dark grey subie interior) vs. looking into my interior (light tan cloth) hers looks very dark and you have to cup your hands to look inside, but you can easily see into mine . this is the first car i've had with a light colored interior, so if i had known that with a light interior the tint doesn't look as dark i would have gone 5% rear/20% front. however at night its a whole different story. oh, and so far no probs about front window tint here in cali. i got power windows so just hit the switches when i've gotten pulled over =)

nice. my friends s13 has 5% all around, so for tickets he has spare front windows with no tint. so when he gets tickets, he slaps on the spare fronts, gets it signed off, then puts his regular windows back in. lots of work, but it's free as opposed to stripping them and retint every time.

mines i believe 20. and the tint shop charged me 200 with front strip included. limited warranty also included. this was jan 07, so not too long ago.

Damn, that straigt sucks. I've never had a cop even say anything about mine and they are all 5%

It only looks good on white or black. My car is white with dark wheels and black leather interior so I think it looks great. I do agree with you though, its too dark for any other color

It also may be just because its a DSM. They don't have the window support on top of the door due to the droptops. It sucks in all of the black trim and makes it not nearly as noticeable

Yeah 5 seems pretty dark. But yeah its 20, doesn't help with the light tan interior. I had 20% on my 94 LS with black interior and it looked really dark. I wish i went darker.

thats what my 20% looks like with a tan interior. i wish i had gone darker too. 20% looked great on my old civic

does anyone here have ceramic tint? it's supposed to be better than the regular film.

im gettin my 4dr done for about 130ish and thats good tint 5% all around with a lifetime warranty, same guy did my friends 240 coupe and its lasted him 5yrs without fade or peel!!!!!
