I need to know what numbers are on the connecting rods to help me select bearings. also are all the numbers the same for every b18a1 engines?

He wants to know how to identify what bearings he needs for his LSV build.
He can just order a bearing set such as Clevite, ACL, etc. for his rods and crank(i.e. stock spec or if it was turned).
He seems to be hung up on using the OEM color coded bearings, though if he is using Eagle rods(I believe he said he was in his other post) he doesn't need to bother.

The numbers and colors are specific to the rods in your motor. I had 1 #1, 2 #3, and 1#4 in my old LS. If you're using Eagle rods, just have the machine shop make sure your crank is good and order you a bearing set. Then have them check the clearances to make sure they're perfect.

If you are using forged/new rods, forget about the numbers.

This. Once you make sure the crank is true, you should have the machine shop gauge the clearances and order bearings accordingly.
