Has anyone here ever taken apart a 1991 b18a1 engine?
The numbers and colors are specific to the rods in your motor. I had 1 #1, 2 #3, and 1#4 in my old LS. If you're using Eagle rods, just have the machine shop make sure your crank is good and order you a bearing set. Then have them check the clearances to make sure they're perfect.I just want to know what the numbers would be on the rod. are they all numbered 3 or are they different numbers for my year and model.91 b18a1
If you are using forged/new rods, forget about the numbers.I just want to know what the numbers would be on the rod. are they all numbered 3 or are they different numbers for my year and model.91 b18a1
This. Once you make sure the crank is true, you should have the machine shop gauge the clearances and order bearings accordingly. The numbers and colors are specific to the rods in your motor.
