I have the second one you listed. The straight stick with no mounting piece. The blue one is a "pro model" or something like that.
The B&M Edge shifter (2nd shifter you posted) is an AMAZING piece. It goes in extremely easy. Only thing I wish I would have done different was replaced the bushings.
I might be getting a B&M Dual Bend shifter so it can position the knob a little closer to me.
Either way, though. The B&M Short Shifters won't disappoint. I've had mine in my car for about 3 years now, and even though I didn't replace the bushings, it still feels great. I can only imagine how awesome it would feel with new bushings.
