Any DEI is your better alarm, I would suggest getting a pager unit and have the installer put in a hood pop switch. If you have $$$ to spend I recomend a GPS tracker.

Alarm won't stop thieve. If a Thieves want your vehicle they will get it or they will break in.

Team-mate of mine down in Florida had his show stopper boosted K swap civic stollen from his driveway. He had his steerring wheel removed and his ECU removed evertime he park it along with a car alarm pager unit and pedel lock. This was 4 years ago and the car is still missing. The only way to steel it is from a tow truck where guessing it was a flatbed.

i have not experienced any malfunctions with the clifford 2way currently installed on my vehicle. there is a wire attached to the siren that you can manually detach to allow the volume to increase. i suppose that wire contains a resistor of some sort that restricts the volume capabilities of the speaker. additionally, i managed to have my keyless entry professionally installed for 80 american dollars

The Start is near!
Clifford x+1 alarm is the one I think I'm getting.

I'm not worried it will get stolen at my house too much, mostly at my school where the parking lot is a quarter mile from where my classes are. I'll also get a steering wheel lock thing, then at least it APPEARS secure :p.

Theres 3 other integras (automatic=lame) in the parking lot, as well as a SI,RSX,Hummer and a Mustang, so I guess I'm not too worried.

What's as important as the alarm itself is the quality of the install.
Exactly
I've had clifford and viper alarms and liked both.
Yup, both DEI brands.

In addition to alarm, there are other security measures you can take. Some have been mentioned already like pulling your ECU, which I think is stupid. You're better off pulling your steering wheel..either way a thief will just bring their own.
One MUST for Integra's is relocating the hood release cable. Another good practice is to have a back-up battery for the alarm. Having the siren located inside the car is another good tip.
Kill switches are okay but they're no secret and it really won't take an experience thief too long to find it, following wires. Someone on this site I can't remember who has a three-position switch in which all three switches has to be in a certain position--again, only delay's the thief, won't stop him.
Like Barry said, the install is important hiding wires in existing looms and such.

One GREAT measure..one word: Ravelco
