Which car alarm?

I have good things about the Crimestopper alarm system/keyless entry but some people say it sucks. The things I'm looking for is quality,price (under $80) and of course.. a loud alarm and keyless entry

I would just do a kill switch and hope for the best! I got my 2 way pager/remote start/keyless the works for $150 on ebay and my buddy installed it for me. If you know how to install an alarm than you could go that route, but I'm taking it that you dont so just save up money, in the mean time, do the kill switch and relocate hood latch..securing your teg is all about layers

be creative with the kill switches...and dont do a fuel pump one thats too easy to get through

^^good point^^I hide the crap out of my killswitch, its actually on a piece of scrape metal I can push up n down inside my dash some where...
also if your so worried about your car getting stolen you could always just take out the ecu, in extreme cases of course!

only good one is main relay or ecu fuel kill switch. your alarm has ignition and starter kill already. But fuel pump is easy to jump

What's as important as the alarm itself is the quality of the install. Any brand name alarm like Crimestopper is going to do what it's suppose to do, but if a thief can get into your car and yank the brain in a minute flat, even the best alarm in the world is no longer worth squat. I'd rather have a cheap alarm properly and expertly installed than a high end alarm installed poorly.
btw, I've never heard of an alarm that doesn't lock and unlock the doors, aka, keyless entry.

DEI product, Always good products but there remote LCD does not last long for some resson. My teg been thru 4 different alarm since I drove the vehicle off the dealer lot and I'm upgrading it again this spring or summer. I love newer technology

The only reason I said 80 was because there are crimestopped alarms on ebay for under 80 :lol:.

K lets put it this way, what alarm should I buy that isn't considered that expensive for an alarm?
