Where is a good place to buy a under 300$ head unit?

my car is in storage and I can't remember.....

is there enough room for a flip out screen? I don't think there is but I can't remember?

Also they make double DIN with built in screen, but isn't the head unit real low for one with a screen?

Please help

I like the single DIN so you can still retain the OEM cubby

Most likely. You would have to check out the maximum viewing angle of the LCD screens. Our units sit low, so contrast will go right out the damn window lol. Stick with a double DIN with a fancy readout. I want the Pioneer Stage 4 full setup. Only bad thing is, it costs as much as our car...new lol.

some of the double dins with screens can tilt out the bottom a bit for lower mounts.

and sonicelctronix almost always has better prices than crutchfield. its not hard to beat crutchfield in pricing, they win people over in their customer service.

its gonna be hard for a "good" dvd/tv head unit for $300....maybe source one used. that price range is going to find you jensen, etc brands. unless you go the ebay route. g/l

quite tru....at first years ago, I would just plug my PSP into the aux jack(& rigged up a display area with velcro and my charging dock for the psp on my console where the cup holders are lol) Heat & Mr./Mrs. Smith sounded insane with the system. serious surround sound lol!
