Wheel Cleaning

I'm debating getting my wheels painted, and if you guys could post up some of the best products to help me and others know what to clean my wheels with for prepping i would greatly appreciate it
(de-greaser, brake dust removal, etc)

WD40 does a fantastic job getting gunk off wheels. My CV boot ripped open and I had tons of axle grease splattered all over the inside of my wheel, the WD40 took it all off like it was nothing.
