you can run a 205 on a 15x8 wheel. I know plenty of people who do, you want a stiffer sidewall when running an r comp tire. That little bit of stretch helps it the side wall get that little bit more stiff.
But i run a 215 14 16 on a 16x7 wheel, next year im mounting my RA1s on a 15x8
