What breaks engines is HP numbers not boost numbers. I have seen a 300 hp LS with STOCK internals. Tuning is the key to anything. If you have a good tuning device and a good tuner the sky is the limit. Hondata, Chrome, Uberdata are all among the best tuning systems out there. Uberdata is free but has some glitches in it at times. Chrome is has a small price to pay but no heard of glitches. Both require you to burn a chip every time you change your fuel map.

most people with a properly tuned car, dont run high boost because they reach their HP goal at a lower boost level.
for instance, i've seen a LS/VTEC (B16 head) put out 298WHP @ 6 psi with a T3/T04 turbo.
