what would you do?

ok so something happened to me a couple weeks ago and i was just curious how everyone would have reacted to it so heres the story: me and a friend were cruising in my car following my brother in his car and another friend in his car(3 cars total).we are turing left on a street and my friend and my brother both turn and there is a jetta coming down the road opposite direction of us with his blinker on to turn right. I wait for him to turno and then I turn. he pulls over to the side of the road so I go around him and get into the left turning lane to go back to main street. he pulls up next to me and starts bitching about me needing to slow down and shit because he has his kid with him (I was following all the laws and speed limit). I look at him funny trying to figure out what he is talking about and tell him to chill the fuck out, we didnt do shit. he starts mouthing off sayin he wants me to pull off up the road and fight him with his wife and kid in the car :roll: so i tell him he shouldnt be starting shit with people when he has his family with him and that he was really mature about starting fights like that. the light turns green, so he fucking spits on my car and in my friends face and takes off!! so I chase after him and turn back down to main street so I can get ahead and cut himm off. I turn back up to the street he is on and he is stopped at a stop light. so I slid to a stop in front of him and run up to open his door and beat the shit out of him. before I can get the handle on the door he takes off and turns right up the street. he had to bakc up a little cause my car was in front of his so when he was done backing up and started driving off I kicked in his rear driver panel :twisted: . havent seen him since 8) . what would all of you done in that situation?

Hey inline..well man, this is what i think and I would hope that some people will agree with me....First, if anyone did that shit to me I would indeed be trin to kick some ass. BUT, the man had his kid and wife with him, If that was the case, I would still be pissed, but i would try and really have to bite my tongue but i would try very hard to drive away, ,,,,You never know with people today, everyones fuckin crazy, but its never worth putting a family and KIDS in the line of fire,,,,,,,,Inline i feel you we've all have had road rage but damn try not to do it when women and kid are involed. yeah I thought about that. thats why I was gonna get him out of the car since he wanted me to pull over up the street anyway. I wasnt going to hurt the wife and kid, only the fucktard who starts shit. but I do agree with you, thats why I didnt get back into my car and follow him.

Idk what I would do in that situation. I know that I would not take it as far as you did. I probably would have rolled up my window and turned my music louder so I could not hear him and drove off. If you didnt do anything wrong then shrug it off and go on with your life, but that is just me.

well the way I see it is this; he spit on my teg and friend, that is a huge insult. he also wanted me to pull over up the street and fight him. he started it, and I did what I thought was necessary. look at it this way, if he would have done that to someone else in a differant city(you cali guys probably know what I'm talking about) he and his family could have gotten killed. I would never take it that far, I'm not that kind of guy. I'm just saying he got what he deserved. if he was a real father HE would have turned his cheek, not me. I didnt start it. he got what he asked for. so what do we learn from this? dont start shit with people when you have your family in the car because you never know what kind of person the other guy is. thats how I see it......

that was indeed an option but I wasnt thinking about that at the time. isnt it weird how you forget about what you really SHOULD have or COULD have done when something like this happens but you think about it right after the event has ended?
