how much am i looking at spending if i resleeve the b20b labor and parts?
The intake cam may be slightly different, or the exhaust, im not sure which. The valve covers are interchangeable between all non-vtec B-series motors.I thought they were the same bottom end but with diffrent heads. Cant swap the valve covers.
It depends on the shop. You just have to call around and see.how much am i looking at spending if i resleeve the b20b labor and parts?
I have a B18A1 with a 98spec B18B valve-cover. valve covers can be swapped easily. same motor, the only differences between the A1 and the B1, mechanically are the following:I thought they were the same bottom end but with diffrent heads. Cant swap the valve covers.
whats wrong with a dremel and sand paper....when you port and polish you use either a dremel or some air tool with a rock grinder...same thing i feel the dremel allows you to be more precise. That is the reason I'm going to port n polish it. N the right way not that crap where they just take a drimmel n sandpaper. There's a guy here that I have heard is awesome on doing it. I'm going to see how much he charges
yesB18s cannot be bored beyond 82mm without risking stuctural integrity. If you go beyond that the block needs to be sleeved.
oh and its not a b20 its a b18a1 that im boring
You cant go beyond 82mm on stock sleeves.B18s cannot be bored beyond 82mm without risking stuctural integrity. If you go beyond that the block needs to be sleeved.
