I'm going to say this once more..
Use the rings that match with the piston company that you choose.. On that level of the build it is best not to mix/match parts companies based upon their tolerances. Total Seal are best with CUSTOM MADE PISTONS..
you broke eagle rods? i gotta say that had something to do with the tune, not the rods themselves. i havent even heard of a set of eagle's failing since they switched to the 3/8 arp rod bolts. they are supposed to be good to 900whpI had eagle rods and weiso pistions in my motor on 25 psi and it was good until I put a 200 shot on it. I'm goin 2 put the samething in my new motor.
