What is the most dependable with turbo motor

yea that block itself cant hold more then 7 psi on stock internals. (ie pistons, cylinder walls, rods) so like mirrior said. id be more worried about the block itself then the transmission.
Really stock internals cant handle over 7psi? You cant say it's limit is 7psi, the limit is how much HP the block can handle, usually for an LS its around 250whp-300whp. to the OP you should go run a comp. and leak down test on the motor and see how healthy your motor is, then set power goals from there.. Just make sure you get a tune..

Well I just got a b18c1 and Im building that one, Im going to sell my assembled ls motor with 45k for some cash to get my forged internals and all. Once I get everything started Ill make a build thread that way I can keep every one up to date.

it's not about how many psi the motor can handle
each turbo is different
it's all about the tune. that will either make or break your motor.

the ls motor can handle a lot of abuse stock
check out this thread on H-T

he's running 11's on a stock LS. weight has a big difference it's in a EG6
not much is needed to get you up and running in fact i plan on going the same route pretty soon.

well no im not talking about psi, i know that the 7 psi is different from a t25 compared to a 50 trim. I just got my hands on a gsr motor so im going to buy a 50 trim, some srp 10.0:1 pistons with some forged eagle rods, get adjustable cam gears, a turbo cam. double layered head gasket. build it properly and get a good tune. Hope to hit around 350hp.

ya but i have heard to many bad things about ls vtecs and b20 vtecs and all that jazz. I just want to stick to the b18c1, prob get it bored out to a 83mm, throw cp pistons, with eagle rods. Along with some cams, all accompanied by a 50 trim. Then a very nice tune. Which will hopefully put me near my goal
First i wouldnt over bore any block over 2mm esp. a b-series and if you still want to take the risk you need to not consider but DO sleeves at that bore of that size.

There isnt "many bad things" with really a spacific motor. Each one works "better" for spacific applications, i.e. all motor or turbo. If you are going to boost, a GSR bottom end has oil squirters in the pistons and vtec already ran so thats good. Really only differance. O a lot more money too. Samari is a smart guy id listen to him, if he suggested a b20 vtec, id look into b20 vtec. If you want to keep your gsr block, thats fine, but like everyone said build it right. And look into what bore you want, only reason ppl really over bore at all is cuz the cyl walls are that worn and warped. If it was me, id keep stock bore if i could, no machine shop will do better work than the honda assembly line... and the more of that wall you take away the sooner and easier that wall will crack under pressure or heat. Turbo is even worst for that situation
