you'd be faster with a hatch. but your right, tegs are hella cooler. 8)

fiberglass hatch, doors, front end. plexiglass windows, tube chassis, one race seat made of carbon fiber, cut out the rear floor and replace with fiberglass or plexiglass, light weight wheels, all interior pieces pulled out, custom aluminum dash. I'm sure there is more, anyone feel free to add to this list. I've also heard of pro drag teams acid dipping the entire shell to make the sheet metal thinner. good luck on the drag car.

acid dipping???? wow, so you think a teg or hach???
I would go with a hatch. its just a better platform for drag IMO. years 88-91 are the lightest and would be the cheapest to build. my friend is in the process of building a full drag CRX. Teg's are better suited to road racing and such. also to add to that list, mahdavi motorsports used to sell rear suspension conversions to shorten the width of the wheel base which is lighter than stock width. I thnk they mght still sell them but if not then that would be a great piece to put on.
