Why on earth would your mom not want you to have a manual?

Because she thinks I'll race it. Hell she thinks my car is too fast now and I can barely get past cars driving next to me at full throttle. I have no power. I mash the gas and the car just revs out without putting any power down at all.

In that case I would get a manual and prove that you're infact responsible, My parents were afraid of how I was going to drive when I finished building my camaro engine and I turned out to be a more responsible driver then both of them.

They originally bought the integra and when I mentioned trading for the prelude , my mom quickly said no. Then I said the trans is going bad on the teg. She said drive it until it stops.

When I was 17 I just bought the parts and started doin the manual swap. My mom just rolled her eyes and my dad called it a bucket of bolts and wanted his garage back LOL
