What the hell radiator are you using? That top hose is all sorts of kinked. I am shocked you don't over heat. Also what is with that little air filter on the PCV valve? The PCV Valve needs vacuum to open up. Essentially what you did was cap one of your crank pressure ports.
I have an obd0 B18A1 so it has the breather box on the back of the block The vacuum is going from the IM to the breather box to relieve crankcase pressure.
Makes sense on the block. Hah yeah man I swear people do dumb shit to cars. Mine came with an EF civic radiator or something. It didn't fit at all and was zip tied in place lol. Also the hoses were funky looking. I yanked that out in the first 2 days.
