Wanted: A 'How To' Jack Up An Integra

basically, i like fast!
Ok so I found out my jack isnt as tall as my jack stands. So I took off my front bumper which I needed to do anyways and rolled the fronts onto my moms truck ramps. haha very hard. Origonally I atleast wanted to get the front up so I can take off the fan assembly so I can get my hand down on the bottum exhaust heat sheild bolt. And I DID IT!
BUT.....
Found a couple of bad things. Oil and dirt and build up is all around my oil pan. And theres a pole on the drivers side next to the fan assembly that is leaking oil I believe. Dont know what to do.... I have good pics. Give me a bit to upload them.

I use a crossmember to jack up the car and the subframe to use the jack stands. Mainly because It annoys me to look at the side of the car and see where the jackstands were(they bend where the book says to jack the car up)

Real Good!
i always do the x.... Dont think that it really matters imo
the way we do it is different depending on the car

regular car, fronts straight back and rears cross to front
directional tires, front to back
staggered NON directional tires, side to side really no reason to do it but some customers want this done

if your vehicle is in good working for as long as you rotate them it shouldnt really matter IMO

Get yourself a real jack to replace your scissor jack.

The only thing I keep my scissor jack around for it to get my car high enough to slide my real jack under.

And although its not preferred, I use the holes for tow truck hooks (nead the jack point for the rear wheels) to get the car high enough to slide the jacks under. I dont think it was meant for it, but as far as I can tell, it can support it. At least until it pops through and my car comes crashing to the ground :)

Lol I have a real jack that my mom uses for her truck, and jack stands that my uncle gave me that look like they can support a tank. About a foot high or so. Seems like I need to go to autozone and buy some shorter ones huh? :???:
