dude I say go with a short gear b16 tranny so to give you more of an idea of what to look for go with
a jdm civic/crx si-r Y1 tranny or jdm s1/j1. these are really great short gear trannies and you will feel the torqe difference.
I have a jdm y1 lsd tranny with my 98 spec type r swap and it give me awsome torque to the wheels. I just took in the tranny for a full rebuild and had a LS ys1 for 3 weeks till I got my tranny back and it sucked ass. My rpm would drop belowe 5k while redlineing
I found a guy on nwp4life selling a jdm Y1 b16 tranny with factory lsd, shoot him an offer since hese been trying to sell for over 2 months now i think.
