lol you can't wait, I can't either man! This whole damn process has taken since april and it hasn't been by choice at all. I'm so stoked. To asnwer your other question yea they are dr20's. For the radiator I got mine from horsepowerfreaks.com you an jus call them and tell them that's the one your looking for they will hook you up. For mounting I'll get some pictures but yea I think it's possible with the motor in. It's not that big really, just thick, mostly on the trans portion so more room no header in the way.

I got the motor back and everything and was putting it back together and ran into problem 1. The manifold i had ended up being for a b16a, not a b18c gsr head. So i had to order a new manifold, i ended up going with the limited edition red skunk2 manifold.

After installing correct manifold i continued to add the remaining taps, when it came to the Thremo tap on the trans side of the head, it snapped. Completely snapped off inside the head, so now i need to remove the head, take it to a machine shop and have them get the tap out, which i hope to god they can. It is possible i ruined the head and if that happened idk wft i am going to be doing...

So i guess once the head is back, ill get the photos of what everything looks like with it in the car. I got some photos from the nite i brought the motor home, but it doesnt show anything other than the valve cover so ill wait till i have some good ones but stay tuned. Things are moving along. Very very slow haha. poop

Motors back and in the car

Got the motor back and in the car, now im just working on a good base tune for the N/A motor till the turbo can go on. I only had time to grab one pic b4 work today but ill get up some better photos once i have a chance to change the ride hieght to where i like it and have it running good.

Its so high right now cuz the shop raised it to get it on there lift.

Enjoy and thank you for checking it out.

My friend cracked a sleeve at 418whp on his stock sleeves at same compression ratio.

Good luck with stock sleeves!

get a type r tranny alittle more than the gsr but you'll get closer gears and an lsd included and injectors try to get saturated so you dont gotta run the resistor box...and i wouldn't go lower than 600cc if your looking at 500whp
LOL, for 500 hp you will need well over 1000cc

Was it also a type r block? IDK if now i am going to push over 400 just because of the money that has been dumped into the motor. It is block guarded, but i have heard good and bad things about that so well just see how it ends up going.

Also, your freind, do you know what piston size he was running?? I only went .5mm over..

Hondata is your best choice you get better numbers with Hondata over AEM.
I know after i bought my management i kinda started to want to lean toward hondata but at that point it was to late. BTW my ugeo wideband o2 sensor is the only thing AEM, im actually using a Neptune Demon RTP socketed ECU.

I think im going to try and peak around 400 but i am still going with the Injector Dynamic 1000's

The car is getting tuned at innovative motorworks in PA tomorrow at 10am i have a appointment so ill put up the numbers for the n/a motor set up. Its gonna be that way for a while until i get the rest of the turbo kit, which i hope is just b4 summer.

It runs good and has alot of pull down in the low rpms. I hadnt been able to go above 5000 yet tho because some strange air purge noise happens n then it bucks and cuts lik it hit a redline or sumthin. So i hope the ppl at the shop can resolve that tomorrow or i have more issues...

It's a 97 b18c5 complete motor. Stock sized forged pistons, rods, stock crank. Stage2 turbo cams, springs&retainers.

New motor

The motor is finished being put in and is tuned. Had it done in PA at Innovative motorworks. John did the tune time and did a really great job, those guys seem to really know what they are doing.
My car peaked at 181whp and 120trq but he safely tuned it at about 176whp and 115trq. So not bad for a very low compression all motor, till the turbo goes on. The shop that chromed my cover F'ed it all up, it started to bubble the first day the car was running. So i have to take that back but that is the only problem i have had so far.
