the vortech kit has a one, i think. they're a few others that do but I don't remember which ones. Roots style blower like the jackson racing kit usually don't.

Alot centrifugal superchargers have blow-off or bypass valves. It takes some of the load off the compressor under light load or closed throttle situations; including shifting

i got a JR supercharger and never had problems except for belt bieng loose but thats it i love it it screems and also les maintenance, i have friends that put there cars down every other week because of oil problems with turbos and a bunch of other things the only thing i dont like is if you loose a belt that drives the supercharger then your car will not run right because the supercharger doesnt let enough air flow through the intake a it dogs out and dies but if you do it right it wont happen.

supers make good power all the way through while turbos make awesome power in the top end. maybe you would want a super to make up for our cars bad low end, but why not play to your cars strength and feed the top end? I think turbo is deffinitly the way to go with hondas

what was the point of quoting me on this? Centrifugal superchargers usually have bypass valves, what does that have to do with your belts and roots style blower.
