38mm would be ok, you can go with a 40mm to be safe. Just remember PSI and waste are relative to eachother. You gotta size the wastegate spring properly for your amount of boost. That's more important than 35mm vs. 38mm vs. 40mm etc. You're gonna want a wastegate spring on the soft side, especially since you're gonna be running 1 BAR

ok, so the more boost i run means i should have less waste right? if i am using more exhaust less should be left over. which would be the reasoning for a softer wastegate spring. got it. i found some tial wastegates online. they are about 220 for a 38mm wastegate. sounded fair to me.

Yeah as boost goes up waste will go down, relative to turbo size. So like a 60 trim on 0.5 bar will have more waste than the same turbo on 1 bar.

That seems like a decent price. Just hook that up w/ a 0.5 bar spring and it should be fine for your setup IMO.

IMO? ok that sounds good. and with those internals, what kind of pressure you think it will take? like, the max safely.
