turbo kit opinions?

It all depends on what you wanna do with that setup. My buddy had that exact kit and the only problem he had was the wastegate broke off of that ramhorn mani he welded it back on and put a brace to help support it an has been running great ever since. He has a bone stock gsr tuned on 10 pounds with 450 dsm injectors and is a realible dd.

hmm interesting. this is exactly what im tryna do to my gsr. did he upgrade fuel pump for the set up or only the injectors??

Kits are a waste, they're always going to cost more then if you were to buy the pieces separately.

Next year i plan on getting a kit like this an running on my ls. just want to run like 5 to 7 Lbs though cause its my dd an it has alot of miles (under 200000 but close lol). surel. or if any one has a used setup cheap let me know.y this will be ok

dont use the manifold lol i figured id run one to start off with and less then a year my wastegate fell off. just spent 500 on a good ramhorn style but i know it will hold up.

I wouldn't run an eBay kit if I were you. From my first hand experience, real life DD'ing an eBay kit, it's just not worth the trouble.

You see plenty of people talking s*** about them and you think "wow that's bad." But then you see the people that it worked for and you think "oh well, five people said it was bad but one guy said it was good, I'll probably be that lucky 1 in 5!"

But wait, you only see that just because the other 50,000 people that bought the eBay kit don't want to admit that their dumb ass decision blew up in 1,000 miles.

Buy legitimate parts. The ONLY parts of my eBay kit that is still around is my wastegate and intercooler. Every other part has failed and been replaced. In fact, the wastegate surprised me because I was told that would be the first to go. And yes, that manifold is trash. It's not made for the weight of a turbo and it will crack in various places. You're likely to lose your wastegate flange as pictured above.

I know me telling you that it's trash will probably not convince you, because i'm sure your buddies buddy's brothers mom's nephew had an eBay kit and it worked great for him.
