Turbo Build Cost?

Cost of Turbo Build?

So far the full-race turbo kit cost $8,974
Drag suspension plus stroker kit cost $2,500
Built transmission $6000
Built Axle $1,350
total of $18,000
How much would all other misc parts cost?
My goalis , high 900-1000hp
Total budget is $27,000.
I just want to see if this is even remotely possible when I graduate Autotech II/Highschool. Any thoughts?

Call tony palo, tell him you got $27k and you want your integra to be fast as hell. He will probably be able to do something for you. But from what I just read I think that's the best thing you can do or you need to do a ton of research. Lol

Imagine what you could do a car with that much cash. I definitely wouldn't put that into my db though. I assume you just want a drag strip beast, if that's the case then an integra isn't the best idea. Putting not even half that money towards a v8 would yeild the same results.

I'm gonna be real here, seeing it's gonna cost 40-50k from a few hours of research is extremely discouraging. i'm gonna set my goal down to 660hp. I know I sound like a jerk/lazy bastard but I honestly want to know the range of the total cost of that goal. The full-race kit that delivers that power cost $6,185. I know this is pissing people of but bear with me please.

I REALLY want to do this but if it still cost a god awful amount of money even at that power i'm calling it quits. Can you give me some estimates?

Ask DaddyBuiltRacing on here via pm or check his build thread. 650whp is a realistic goal but its definitely not cheap if you want to do it right.

No we can't. It really depends on what you end up getting. Not only do you need the turbo kit, but you will need to build the bloody hell out of the engine to even come close to that number. Power isn't everything. Guy from nerk (daddybuiltracing) is pushing 5XX hp and pulling low 11's last I saw. You really need to get a realistic number in your head, is this going to be a full on dedicated drag car or what? Plans on what you're trying to do would help

My teg will be pushing 450-500 ( I could go higher but I rather not push it)

K20a2 turbo. ( next summer it will be turbo)

But I won't be beating the crap out of it all the time. ARP studs and gasket with a great tune, bore the stock injectors and upgrade the fuel pump and call it a day.

I'm putting about 20k into my car but go and show ( plus all the labor I'm doing)
