trouble with turbo

you should have done some more research before you bought a turbo and just slapped it on there. You need more fuel if you are adding more air. Once you achieve more fuel you need to manage that correctly. What you need is a chipped ecu or hondata, a wideband, and someone to tune it for you...research research research...i've been researching for the past 6 months and i'm still learning something new every day.

Get the 200-300. I would spend some time at good shop with a dyno. Becuase your shits all mismatched your going to need some extensive time on the dyno. I'd pull the turbo off for now or at least limit driving so you don't do anymore damage.

If you want to convert your car to obd1 your going need both the harness and an ecu. Why do you want to convert it over? Go to hondatas website and do some research. With both the s200 and s300 you can pick the add ons you want. Your still going to need some dyno time for tuning unless you can find someone with the exact same setup with you that has the fuel maps you need. Since you you kind of cobbled your system togehter your going to need the dyno time to set everything right. Trust me, I know 2 guys that blow motors last time cause they pieced together turbos and tried to tune with a $60 fuel pressure reg and an SAFC. Blown motors speak for themselves. You've already spent a lot, proper tuning should be what you spen most of your money on now.

yea i know im getting it tuned shortly i just ordered the s200 for boost like 5hrs ago. and i need a harness because my ecu is an obd2a and you cant tune an obd2 you can only tune an obd1.

first thing you should do is check what the cel is. its prob a map sensor. on a b18 w/ a t25 at 6lbs and fmu, you will not run that lean to make you bog. its prob ur map sensor. if your state has emissions inspections, you might wanna think twice about converting to obd1. and what is that thing w/ the wires in the kit?
