Tranny choice??

gas mileage would be better with the b16... but other than that, hands down get the gsr tranny

Talking about the J1 tranny out of the Integra XSI (Not sure what else it came in).

wtf is an integra XSI? So the B16 tranny everyone likes is the JDM B16 that came in the JDM integras huh? Aren't they DA integras too?

Yeah the xsi is jdm and came with the B16a I do believe but I got good news everybody buddy of mine who is deployed right now comes back sometime this next spring and he's decided to buy a different car so his whole GSR swap is goin to me he just got it about 3 months ago and he only wants like 1900 for it so this spring the gsr is goin in my da I'm stoked so no more all motor LS and B16 tranny lol it will be just a straight up GSR swap with some goodies that ill get over the winter! How do da's run with the gsr swap I know civics r quick as hell but no experience with swapped da's!

personally fan of the gsr tranny. but the b16 deff shorter gears.

Well, lets see. It will be basically an Integra GSR. Civics are fast because they never had a model with as fast of a motor as that.
