Tire Size On Si Wheels? Help!

Lol it doesn't make you slower (if you're referring to the bigger tire size)..all it does is throw your speedometer off so it's no longer accurate.
Sure, it might have an negligible effect due to added weight and rotational mass, but it's so insignificant, you'd never notice it.
And for most people, it only throws the speedo out by a couple mph, not enough to worry about.
Here's a handy little tool (for those who haven't seen this) that will show you the difference between your stock tire size and whatever tires you're wanting to throw on your car:

Now thats a nice website/tool I'll probobly go with 205/50/15. Plus cant go wrong with $140 out the door.

Thanks everyone for all the info still thinking on what size to go with. I might go pick up some tires today.

Would be nice if someone had pictures of both tire sizes on SI wheels to give me a better idea.

Tony.
Here's a couple shots of them on my DB2 (195/50R15):

I just read it online somewhere. I didn't bother to check the accuracy due to the fact that I'd rather install properly sized tires for my wheels. lol

The tires will make the wheel heavier and it's right on the actual wheel... Idk how much or physics, but I've read it online from more than one source.

B/w I'm not here to argue and I haven't researched enough nor do I have the proper tests, etc.
I will argue if I have done the tests myself because outside sources will give you wrong and right answers and every car is different especially FWD, RWD, AWD. They might all react differently to steering, etc.

This is the only pic I could dig up that you can see the "buldge" I'll keep looking around, but they are 205/50

Meshies are the same width

Tanabe coilovers, think this was before rear camber kit. Should be in the F/S section in a few months.
