Ok so time for an update.

Found someone interested in trading his 99-00 Si rims for the 17"s. Decided to repaint them to make them look more enticing. I think it came out decent. Whoever painted them before did a shitty job, but some nice amount of time sanding fixed that up.

Sanding it down flat

Got the new Vibrant Power 1 exhaust put on. Still pretty loud, but not as bad. I plan to eventually get something quieter or a OEM RSX Type S muffler.

I had bought some tails on eBay at the beginning of March, but the seller tried to then charge me double the price after the auction and had my money. After a few days of them ignoring my messages I filed a PayPal claim. Had to wait on that to work and then then on the last day they input some tracking number and these showed up close to the end of the month.

I decided to go with the pre 98 tails as I personally like the 94-97 lights better. I don't care for how bright the red is on the 98+. Looks to bright for the dark colored car.

Lastly I found a guy who wanted to trade his OEM tails for my altezzas/white gauges I stripped out/and $20. I'll probably end up selling the spare set or just keep them in case something comes up where i need them. Figured it would be a lot easier to sell OEM tails than the altezzas.

While I was trading him I mentioned about getting rid of the red emblems, he gladly offered up his OEM ones for trade which was great for me. The front one cracked however while we were removing it, but back came off flawlessly. I'll just pick up a new front one, but still saved me the $20 for the rear.

Here it sits as of now with "new" rear emblem and the DOHC Vtec badge removed (thinking about throwing on a LS badge for less attention)

So I have noticed the car would miss between 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd sometimes since I have got it. Then a few days ago it randomly started missing bad. It did it the whole way hope rapidly to the point I couldn't go any faster than about 20mpg.

I changed the plugs out yesterday and it still missed. So today I tore into it again and started with the plug wires. I revved it some and noticed that it was missing/stumbling. I decided to just do the plug wires one at a time to see if I could narrow it down. I started with #1 of course which when I changed the plugs they all looked good except the #1 plug. It looked black and dirty.

Jumped in the car and fired it up, no missing at all. Popped the old one on again, missed. New one again, no missing. Was happy I found the culprit so changed the rest of the plugs. I still don't have a light, but I retarded the timing a good bit from what it was closer to the middle grounds until I get a light.

Since I already had the intake out of the way I decide I might as well pull off the cap and inspect it and clean it up if there is any corrosion or anything. I took the cap off and was shocked. I'm assuming the plug wire was still bad as it ran rough when I put it back in, but I have a feeling this may be the main issue.
