LOL that's what most people look at first anyways. If that's clean, you don't focus so much on the dirty stuff.

yeah but i want it all clean, its like what tom said. the vc looks nice but everything else looks like a h bomb aftermath.
probably will order the covers on ebay. i think i may just paint little stuff and little cheap things for now and clean the bay up. i should start thinking how i want to build after doing a manual swap.

Good deal. Usually when I clean up the engine bay, and I only do it when I go to meets, I clean it with Lysol wipes that I take from my office. They work great.

lol its because the vc is white and so fresh that the rest of it stands out to me like a dirty thumb. I havent cleaned my bay in years but having done a mild clean once left it in decent shape years down the line. City conditions. All i did was wipe down whatever was visible and within reach. Including underside of the hood. Hit visible areas of the block with degreaser where needed but i prefer carb/brake cleaner. Just dont get it on paint.. ask me why my firewall is showing some skin.

Hehe, I used carb cleaner to strip paint off a set of vc's once, One can and the straw that comes with it was strong enough to blast off all of it, no sanding required!
