It looks like the bottom bolt that holds the bearing/bushing that goes on the bottom of the shifter and connects to the change (shift) rod

The change rod goes over the bottom part of the shifter and then the bolt goes through to hold it together. It will work once the change rod is there. The 2 metal bushing goes inside between the rod u joint and the bottom of the shifter. The bolt holds it all together

So you left the shift boot hanging like a limp dick? Why does everyone do that? Put a rubber grommet on the shifter or zip ties on the shift boot to hold it up.

Seems like a Honda thing or something, this is the only scenario where I constantly see people with droopy shift boots. It takes an extra $.50 and maybe 5 minutes

X2 i cant stand seeing the shifter si put a zip tie underneath the coller so it will stay up. problem solved.

Or when you put the shifter in from the bottom you can just force a rubber o-ring grommet around it before you put it in and it will hold the boot up. (that's what I did) Integra's are the only car that I constantly see droopy boots on and I can't understand why.....it's so easy and looks so much better
