The best year GSR

You are all incorrect. The Best Year GSRs were the 92-93 GSRs. :thumbs up
Actually the DC's were better function wise.
92-93's were just rare.

They can only be better "visually" to who ever thinks so.

The major differences in the DB2 and DA9 we're the engine and tranny.
Everything else was cosmetic pretty much.

DC2 vs. DC4 was slightly more, Sway Bars.

Just because the DC2 GS-R had benefits the DC4 didn't, doesn't mean the DC2 is a better performer than the DB2. :p
And if you took both cars new from the factory, the DB2 is actually said to be a tad quicker, but they'd be pretty much dead even regardless.

(Also, don't forget the OEM front strut bar that the DC2 had and not the DC4.)

All that being said, all DB2/DC2 Tegs are good in my books! :)

The DC2 did have benefits over the DB2.
I think stock Vs. stock.
The DC2 was made to handle better and both about the same 1/4 mile wise.
I do like the Hydro tranny better though.

No doubt tho that personally I like DB2's better. Idk why I have a soft spot. I don't see how Honda could go back in time and make the newer model inferior. LoL

I got 54k miles on my JDM SiR-G swap and prefer my 96 front end over the 98 but would like if the 94-97 front ends had the headlights more flush like the 98+

I'll have to find the video but there is one floating around where they tested out some Integras and the only one to out perform the DB2 overall was the DC2 R. I want to say Keiichi Tsuchia was one of the drivers.

Edit: Also, I had originally said it just because its a personal preference and to fuck around with the DC drivers.

Was this at a drag race? I'd like to see that.

Don't doubt me. I own a 95, but the DB2 is still my favorite. I really dislike the cable transmissions though and the cable to hydro conversions. (problems)
#1 reason why I sold my DA

x2. I like the bumper better over the 98, but not the lights.
I also heard snow can get stuck in the deep socket type light. Idk about that though.

It was a road course.
I like my cable transmission for the simplicity of the system. Plus I like the feel. Its a lot easier to push down than my TSI was with the sprung 6 puck and 2800lb pressure plate.
And yes, the cable to hydro conversions are sketchy. They have yet to perfect that science.

Wouldn't be the first time a manufacturer has done that (Subaru did with the WRX/STi.)
I wouldn't say they made it inferior, but they didn't do a whole lot of anything to improve it's real life performance in comparison to its predecessor.

BrokenTalon, if you could find that video somewhere I'd love to see it! :p
