Yup, you heard me. Buddy hooked us up on a un-refusable offer on his JDM H22A motor & trans... How un-refusable of an offer? $700. It's got the LSD tranny too. :D And, he says he can take payments. How cool is this guy.....

We checked it out last night, unloaded it back off his truck, stuck it back in his shop, and we're going to try to meet up with him again tonight. Gunna take some pics of it tonight, and more thoroughly inspect it.

Bads with motor:
no distributor
no cam gears (he took off the AEM cam gears)
no spark plug wires (maybe no plugs, who cares)

Goods:
ACT 6-puck clutch & flywheel
LSD tranny
it's a freaking H22A!
OEM ITR style red valve cover (Looks real good, like it came like that)

So once we get the engine in our possession, we'll start gathering the other parts needed for the swap....

Needed:
-ECU (just going to order a chipped P28 probably)
-axles (Supposedly you can use the 90-97 Accord halfshafts and integra outter axles.
-Mount kit
-shift lingkage (Can use from 90-97 Accord too)
-Might need wiring harness

Anyone know where I can get some good information on H22 swaps? I can't remember much other than only a certain mount kit will let you use the accord/integra axle combo.

I'll keep everyone updated; as usual, on the build.

We're going to pull the B18B1, and slowly build it for Ultimate boost. Like, forged pistons and whatnot.

Anyways, you'll all have to contain your drooling unti I can get some pictures up. :D

Oh, another thing that might be important:

It's from a "Type-S" (type-sh?) JDM Prelude.
yeah its from a type-s which is different than a type-sh. its much better and thats why it comes with a red top valve cover. You can probably find a lot of useful info on preludepower.com . Thats so awesome, cant wait to see the build!!!

Oh okay, that's why it's red.... Cool.... It's so awesome. The "VTEC" on the valve cover is bigger than the DOHC too.
Thanks! I've read that one before now that I think about it...

So, does anyone know which wiring harness I can use with a chipped P28 ECU?

Okay, so i'm hoping we are still going to go over there tonight to check it out. Apparently my little brother has something going on at his school tonight, so we might not be able to make it over there. Hopefully we still can. We'll see if you guys don't get any pictures soon lol.
