uh ya do not use royal purple its not daily driver oil! its a use one day on track oil its life is literly 24 hr race oil do ur research mobil is a good pick use some seafoam half in gas half in oil works wonders u can use the oil version to clean ur vacuum lines too i recommend doin that once then use waterUSE ROYAL PURPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont see why there wud be a problem...

synthetic oil is best.. just know this.. the OIL does not cause your car to leak.. but the OIL (synthetic) does such a GREAT job at cleaning up your engine that it will pull any gunk or grime that is in the little cracks sealing up any leaks you have.. this will cause new leaks and you may also start hearing "tappet" noise.. This is because any sludge that caused the noise to stop will be gone
Synthetic oil is premo and best to use IMO..
I use ELF or ENEOS Synthetic oil.

you wrong about royal purple. i work at wal mart tle and one of our customers only uses royal and has 110,000 mile on an 05 charger and has never had a prob. back to the op put synthetic in it if u get a leak and need a quick fix throw a engine restorer in it and you will be fine thats what i do.

I am not a fan of Royal Purple.. I don't believe in their HUGE CLAIMS OF POWER... I say this.. il is a batle that will never be won... Put in what u like.. if you are worried do your research and put in what u feel comfortable with.

You can put crap oil in a car and it's not going to blow up. I saw a Youtube where they drained the oil and put water in an old Civic and ran it on the dyno until they got bored of it. Give it a few years and you'll start to notice the effects when your engine loses power and fails smog.
Synthetic is good for low or high mileage.
Valvoline full synthetic is one of the best. I use that or Mobil 1, both are a great value although the Valvoline was more expensive when it first came out. I use this on an 88 Civic and a 97 Integra.

suspendedhatch it was a honda baby. u you cant kill a honda. ive seen the same girl bring her 96 civic in for an oil change and everytime i pull the plug i literally get max 2 tablespoons of oil. no knocking no metal shavings nothing. you cant mess them up there built to good. one of the reasons we all have them. to the op get syntheitic and if your worried about the high mileage get high mileage synthetic best of both worlds.
