from what i was told, superchargers are alot easier to maintain than a turbo, and better for daily driving. the superchager replaces your intake manifold. ul get a long pulley to attach to the motor (im not sure where). also, from what i was told, u just have to keep the oil level and check the pulley. dont know how much f that is true, i may not be totally correct. if anyone else can add to it, by all means, go ahead. cus i wanna supercharge my teg as well.

wanna supercharge mine too!!! vortech FTW!!! instead of a long pulley you get a long shaft!

Root S/C = Jackson
Center S/C= Vortech.

Look it up, there is a really good book on over all moding to the B-series and it goes in depth with the Supercharging area. I'll find the book 2nite and get back to u about it.

jackson racing is a better supercharger with a smoother power curve specifically made for honda's, they also have pre programmed hondata for the supercharger, vortech sux in my opinion, i dont think there was any thought process in the vortech system....they basically slapped one on the car

ps what ever u do dont upgrade your cams for thew supercharger, its not recomended and shows lil to no powergain....and if i was u i would just mildly build your mottor, cams etc....not realy into boosting a itr motor

See I dont want to turbo my ITR cause I hear that it will wear down my engine alot fast and I dont want that. Plus everyone says that turboing a ITR is not what they are built for. Its all about N/A set up with those engines.

The guy I bought the car from knows alot about performance. He told me to go with the vortech as well. Said that VORTECH SCs are overlooked but actualy perform better with ITRs than Jackson Racing. But I do keep hearing the same thing about Jackson Racing SCs that they are for all power and VORTECH is just for peak power. IDK:what:
