im on 16x8 +15 with a 205/40 and all i did was cut my rear fenders and rolled the front. i also pulled the front a bit because ive corrected the camber all the way. but if you just use the normal camber, you wont have to pull the fronts.

you know this is the hints/tips thread, right? not the one where you show off your ride.

on the inside front wheel wells I keep scraping the uni-body. probably cause I'm running stock tires? but how do I avoid this I already hammered the front pinch welds to be out of the way but now I have the issue of hitting the uni-body inner fender wheels. does this make sense?

sounds to me like youre hitting the frame with the tires, right?

i believe the only way to correct that is with a smaller sidewall. on my fat 5's, i used a 195/50R15. i was slammed like no other and had no rubbing issues. i rub a bit now with my current tire setup but its no big deal. my suggestion would be, if you need to make a tight turn/ u-turn, take it slow and try to take it slow.

alright thank you I'm running 195/55/r15 right now so I could go a little smaller on my ls mesh. But thanks for the help that is kind of what I thought but just didn't know for sure.

jeezus Coy. that's still slammed with those Fat 5's. and yeah. same goes for me. i'm rubbing when i do U-Turns or turns that require me to nearly go all the way. but then again, i have 4x4 tires.

smaller tires would definitely help to cut back on the rubbing. if i rubbed with the 195/50's, i wouldve gone with a 195/45 but those are a bit hard to come by from normal tire shops.

or

even try throwing on a 5mm spacer on there and no larger. as said before, any more, you'd need extended studs.
every little bit helps :thumbs up

thanks for the advice coy. :thumbs up

appreciate it. oh and even though my Fits are +40, i'm tucking them. is that also a reason?

gsr's are, if i remember correctly, are a +45. your offset should be fine. try throwing on a 5mm spacer on there.

I think for now, i'm not gonna purchase any spacers. in due time, i'm probably going to get some Blades or some other rims.
