Stuck antenna Help

I have a '94 and the same thing is going on. It makes a grinding kinda noise like its trying to go up/down but it just stays up. Ehh, oh well. Haha.

I have the locustom antenna and it takes 15 minutes to install and looks good, they changed the design for a faster installation
