Strange idle issue...

NC3GTEG

Building Kick!
So this morning it was around 30ish degrees outside.. Started my car up and it ran fine for about 30secs.. then it started doing this strange rev bouncing thing all on its own? It would jump from like 900rpm ~ 1500/2000.. It would do this intermittently every like 1s.. I kinda freaked out so I just shut the car off and decided to take the truck to work this morning... This is the first time it has done this since I've owned it and I didn't want to risk an unfamiliar problem so I left it sitting.

What could it be, how should I approach this? Should I just seek a mechanic..? :(

oh snap really? hmm good thing to know! thank you
Air pockets in the system cause issues with the IACV. You can still have idle issues if your coolant is topped off but not bled. :thumbs up
